Tolmachevo Airport provides an organization of works on the repatriation transfer of Russian citizens from foreign countries and foreign citizens from the territory of Russia on a one-time permit basis with the observance of all requirements, guidelines and recommendations of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Federal Supervision Agency for Customer Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor).

9% Growth of Cargo Traffic in March

For the first quarter of 2020, the cargo traffic has amounted to 7,649 tons (+7%), including 3,017 tons of cargo and mail (+9%) in the last March.

Since the beginning of this year, the airport has served 7,720 flights (+13% compared to the same period of the last year), in March: 2,689 flights (+11%).

From January to March, the Tolmachevo airport has served 1,399,580 passengers (+3.8%). The number of passengers on domestic flights has amounted to 995,741, on international flights: 403,839.

In March, the passenger traffic of Tolmachevo airport has amounted to 406,366. 312,899 passengers have been served on domestic flights and 93,467 on international flights.

The number of airport transfer passengers for the last three months increased by 12% compared to the same period of the last year. Their share in the total passenger traffic was 25.8%.

The most dynamic destinations in the last March compared to the same period last year on domestic airlines have been as follows: Chelyabinsk (+103.3%), Ufa (+90.9%), Samara (+52.6%), Ulan-Ude (+49.4%), Severo-Yeniseisk (+47.6%), Bratsk (+43.5%), Saint Petersburg (+43.4%), Abakan (+40.9%). On international airlines: -Bukhara (+47.4%), Fukuoka (+8.2%), Dubai (+0.2%).

At the same time, the most popular destinations for March 2020 were Moscow, St. Petersburg, Khabarovsk, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Phuket, Cam Ranh, Bangkok, Utapao, Dubai, Osh, Bishkek, Nur-Sultan, Khujand and Tashkent.

Tolmachevo airport has switched to a summer schedule since March 29, 2020.

The Novosibirsk International Airport (Tolmachevo) named after A.I. Pokryshkin is the largest transit air hub beyond the Urals on the most important routes between Europe and Asia. At the end of 2019, the airport has served about 6,747 million passengers.
