Tolmachevo Airport provides an organization of works on the repatriation transfer of Russian citizens from foreign countries and foreign citizens from the territory of Russia on a one-time permit basis with the observance of all requirements, guidelines and recommendations of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Federal Supervision Agency for Customer Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor).

Tolmachevo Airport Passenger Traffic Increased by 838,000 in 2019

Last year, the Tolmachevo airport has served 6,747,151 passengers (+14.2%). The number of passengers on domestic flights has amounted to 4,903,212 (+14.5%), and on international flights to 1,843,939 (+13,3%).

In December, the passenger traffic of the Tolmachevo airport has amounted to 542,085 people, this is an increase of 16% compared to the result in 2018. Domestic flights have served 381,935 passengers (+14%), international flights — 160,150 (+21%).

The number of airport transfer passengers has increased by 27% at the end of the year. In 2019, the Tolmachevo airport has served 1.73 million transfer passengers, their share in the total passenger traffic has been 26.3%.

In 2019, the most dynamic destinations were: Salekhard (+817%), Novokuznetsk (+463.3%), Kazan (+176.5%), Bratsk (+175.9%), Tomsk (+172.1%), Samara (+170.7%), Ulan-Ude (+88.4%). At the international destinations — Namangan (+157.1%), Issyk-Kul (+79.2%), Kamran (+51.6%), Seoul (+47.1%).

The most dynamically growing destinations were in the last December compared to the same period last year on domestic flights: Tomsk (+264.5%), Ufa (+176.2%), Ulan-Ude (+173.4%), Salekhard (+136.7%), Kazan (+116.5%), Simferopol (+88.4%), Gorno-Altaisk (+87.8%). In international routes — Kamran (+80.8%), Phuket (+82.6%), Sanya (+66.1%), Dubai (+61.6%), Ust-Kamenogorsk (+46%), Nur-Sultan (+40.9%).

For twelve months, airport has served 33,191 flights (+13% compared to the same period last year), in December — 2,882 (+17.7%).

In 2019, the cargo traffic has amounted to 34,142 tons (+7%), including 3,692 tons of cargo and mail (+8%) in December.

Last year, new flights have been opened from Novosibirsk to Bukhara, Voronezh, Guangzhou, Nizhny Novgorod, Novokuznetsk. In addition, new charter flights to Surat Thani have been opened. Since August last year, Smartavia Airline Company has become a new partner of Tolmachevo airport on the Moscow route.

Today, the Tolmachevo airport ranks 6th among Russian airports in terms of total passenger traffic after the airports of the Moscow aviation hub, St. Petersburg and Sochi, and is among the top three in terms of cargo traffic.

The Novosibirsk International Airport (Tolmachevo) named after A.I. Pokryshkin is the largest transit air hub beyond the Urals on the most important routes between Europe and Asia. At the end of 2019, the airport has served about 6,747 million passengers. The airport's route network includes 100 flight destinations. Today, the airport is offering for passengers more than 2300 practical combinations of pairs of connecting routes.
