Passenger Traffic on International Flights reached a 21% Growth in October

In October, Tolmachevo handled 576,615 passengers – an increase of 13% compared to 2018. Domestic flights served 411,904 passengers (+10%), international — 164,711 (+21%).

According to the results for ten months, the increase in the number of transfer passengers was 30% compared with the same period of the last year. Transfer passengers made up 27% of the total passenger traffic.

Domestic flights: Anapa (+220.3%), Ufa (+168,3%), Tomsk (+147.8%), Bratsk (+131.9%), Ulan-Ude (+125.6%), Perm (+104,4%) and international flights: Namangan (+329.1%), Phuket (+100.5%), Sanya (+72.8%), Antalya (+62.1%) became the most dynamic directions of this October compared with the same period of the last year.

Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Yekaterinburg, Antalya, Beijing, Sanya, Kamran, Phuket, Osh, Bishkek, Almaty, Nur-Sultan (Astana) and Tashkent became the most popular directions among passengers according to the results of the October 2019.

For ten months the airport has served 27,480 departures (+11.9% to the same period of the last year), in October — 2,877 (+12%).

Since the beginning of 2019, cargo traffic has reached 27,106 tons (+6%), including October — 3,062 tons of cargo and mail (+11%).

As we have already informed, Tolmachevo Airport’s new winter schedule has become effective since October: flights to Pavlodar and Hefei resumed, flights to Tokyo, Bukhara, Nizhny Novgorod, Novokuznetsk and Anapa continue. Moreover, Fast track service has become available in Tolmachevo Airport since October.

The Novosibirsk International Airport (Tolmachevo) named after A.I. Pokryshkin is the largest transit air hub beyond the Urals on the most important routes between Europe and Asia. At the end of 2018, the airport has served about 5,909 million passengers. The airport's route network includes more than 95 flight destinations. Today, the airport is offering for passengers more than 2300 practical combinations of pairs of connecting routes.
