From Novosibirsk to Yakutsk with ALROSA

On August 23, the airline “ALROSA” began flights to Yakutsk. Flights are scheduled to operate on Fridays on Boeing 737 aircrafts.

Flight YAM (Russian: ЯМ) 557 Novosibirsk – Yakutsk departs from Novosibirsk at 07:20 and arrives at the airport “Yakutsk” named after Platon Oyunsky at 13:00. Return flight YAM (Russian: ЯМ) 558 departs from the capital of the diamond region to Novosibirsk at 15:40 and arrives in Tolmachevo at 17:30. Local time is indicated for each airport.

Yakutsk is the capital of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), a port city on the Lena River in the Eastern Siberia. Here is a Mammoth Museum, which presents the remains of these ancient animals which are thousands of years old. The State Museum of history and culture of the peoples of the North preserves fossils of the ice age, including the skeletons of mammoths. Yakutsk is the fifth city of the Far Eastern Federal District in terms of population (after Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Ulan-Ude and Chita). This is the largest city among the cities located in the permafrost zone.
