Tolmachevo Airport Served Over 3.7 Million Passengers for 7 Months

For the first seven months of 2019, the Tolmachevo airport served 3,716,745 passengers (+15.8%). The number of passengers on domestic flights amounted to 2,694,617 (+17,4%), on international flights to 1,022,128 (+11,6%).

In July, the passenger traffic of the Tolmachevo airport amounted to 722,580 people, which is 14.2% more than in 2018. Domestic flights served 557,364 passengers (+15.8%), international flights — 165,216 (+9.3%).

The number of airport transfer passengers for the first seven months increased by 37.8% compared to the same period last year. Their share in the total passenger traffic was 26%.

The most dynamically growing destinations were in July compared to the same period last year on domestic airlines: Tomsk (+245.4%), Perm (+100.4%), Kazan (+97.8%), Samara (+97.7%), Bratsk (+74.9%), Chelyabinsk (+71.2%), Polar (+69.6%), Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (+67.7%). At the international level: Namangan (+158.6%), Phuket (+101.3%), Yerevan (+70.6%), Harbin (+65.4%) and Seoul (+63.6%).

At the same time, the most popular Russian destinations were in July 2019 among passengers Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Simferopol, Vladivostok, flights to the non-CIS countries - Antalya, Beijing, Cam Ranh, Larnaca, Seoul, flights to the CIS countries – Osh, Bishkek, Almaty, Nur Sultan, and Tashkent.

From January to July, the airport handled 18,292 aircraft departures (+12.9% compared to the same period last year), in July: 3,244 (+15%).

Since the beginning of 2019, the cargo traffic amounted to 18,091 tons, including in July 2,879 tons of cargo and mails.

The Novosibirsk International Airport (Tolmachevo) named after A.I. Pokryshkin is the largest transit air hub beyond the Urals on the most important routes between Europe and Asia. At the end of 2018, the airport has served about 5,909 million passengers. The airport's route network includes more than 95 flight destinations. Today, the airport is offering for passengers more than 2,000 practical combinations of pairs of connecting routes.
