In 2013, an International Mail Processing Center (IMPC) of FSUE "Russian Post" was opened at Tolmachevo airport in order to process express shipments arriving from China and countries of Southeast Asia. The growing capabilities of Tolmachevo as one of the largest cargo and mail hubs in the country allow to receive 1-2 flights of Russian Post per day, processing up to 50 tons of mail per day. Currently, Russian Post is implementing the project of a logistics mail centre construction at Tolmachevo airport, with an area of 50 thousand square meters. It'll be a key point for processing and distribution of international mail of Russia. The capacity of LMC will be up to 1 million parcels per day.
The airport has a Line Maintenance Station for foreign-made aircraft, which has the certificates of European and Bermuda aviation authorities (EASA and BDSA) for the line maintenance of MD-11F, Boeing 747-400F and Boeing 747-8F aircraft. The airport has a modern intermodal cargo terminal "Tolmachevo Cargo" with a separate customs point, furnished with modern equipment to handle goods of various categories.
