Flights are subsidized on the co-funding basis from the Federal budget as well as the budgets of the Voronezh and Novosibirsk regions.

The flights are operated by S7 Airlines from 1 June, 2019, on Tuesdays and Saturdays on Embraer 170 aircraft, designed to transport 78 passengers in a comfortable economy class cabin.

Flights subsidizing allows offering passengers air travel at a reduced fixed cost, ensures the development of regional air service, bypassing Moscow, and serves to increase the economic connectivity of the regions of Russia. In particular, thanks to the state support program for air service, the paragraphs of the Decree of the RF President dated 7 May, 2018, No. 204 "On national goals and strategic objectives of the country development for the period up to 2024" are observed.

We remind, that in addition to Voronezh, the list of subsidized destinations from Novosibirsk in 2019 also includes 19 cities: Beloyarsky, Gorno-Altaisk, Noyabrsk, Tomsk, Kargasok, Severo-Yeniseysk, Strezhevoy, Khanty-Mansyisk, Kogalym, Nadym, Kyzyl, Nizhnevartovsk, Novokuznetsk, Novy Urengoy, Perm, Surgut, Ulan-Ude, Ust Kut and Ufa.
