Departure procedures

For passengers of domestic flights

Services for the passengers departing from Novosibirsk International Airport (Tolmachevo) on domestic flights are provided in the domestic terminal (Terminal A).

Tickets and baggage check-in

In order to ensure safety of life and health of passengers and visitors, it is required to undergo security screening at the entrance to the airport terminal building. The security checks of passengers and baggage are conducted by aviation security personnel using certified equipment.

Tickets and baggage check-in for domestic flights at Novosibirsk International Airport (Tolmachevo) starts 90 minutes and ends 40 minutes before scheduled departure. For information about the exact time when the check-in starts and ends, please refer to representatives of the airline you are flying.

Tickets and baggage check-in for domestic flights takes place in the left wing of the ground floor of Terminal A. At check-in you need to produce your passport and ticket (if you have an electronic ticket, passport is enough for the check-in) as well as get your baggage checked (regardless of whether it is hand or hold baggage). Special attention should be paid to the weight and dimensions of your baggage. There are charges for overweight and oversize baggage. Please familiarize yourself with the baggage regulations published on the website of the airline you are flying. Upon check-in you will be given a boarding pass and baggage tag. The boarding pass and baggage tag should be kept during the flight to collect you baggage at the airport of destination.

Undergoing preflight inspection and waiting for departure

Upon tickets and baggage check-in, passengers are to go to the first floor of Terminal A for preflight inspection. The preflight inspection of passengers and baggage is conducted by aviation security personnel using certified equipment.

After passing the preflight inspection, passengers proceed to the departure lounge where they stay until invited to board. There are shops, newspaper and souvenir stalls and a food court available in the departure lounge.

For passengers of international flights

Services for the passengers departing from Novosibirsk International Airport (Tolmachevo) on international flights are provided in the international terminal (Terminal B).
