Approach and Runway Lighting

Runway 1 (07/25) is equipped with a lighting system D-4 Transcon, along with the rest of the airfield equipment, it ensures the final approach according to ICAO category I.

The lighting system of Runway 2 (16/34) installed in Novosibirsk International Airport meets the air worthiness requirements and is suitable for flights in meteorological conditions of the 1st and 2nd categories.

Search and Rescue Facilities for Flights

Air search of aircraft suffered a disaster in the Siberian area of aerospace search and rescue is performed by the West-Siberian Interregional Territorial Department of Air Transport of the Federal Air Transport Agency.

Ground searches are carried out by ground search-and-rescue groups (GSRG) of Tolmachevo Airport JSC, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Emergency Situations and other ministries and departments.

Fire-Proof Support of Flights and Airport Facilities

Tolmachevo Airport JSC has the license to carry out fire-fighting operations and a certificate of compliance for fire-proof flight support on the both runways under the 9th category at the level required for fire protection (LRFP) and airport infrastructure.

Special Vehicles and Mechanization

Novosibirsk International Airport has all the necessary ground equipment certified for technical, commercial aircraft of domestic and foreign manufacture, and also for the maintenance of the airfield.
