From 31 March a summer schedule with the opening of new flights, resumption of seasonal routes and increase in flights frequency in a number of destinations is effective at Tolmachevo airport.

April Results: The Number of Transfer Passengers Continues to Grow

For four months of 2019 Tolmachevo airport served 1,831,297 passengers (+15.3%). The number of passengers on domestic air routes amounted to 1, 272,477 (+17.4%), that on international ones was 558, 820 (+10.8%).


In April passenger traffic of Tolmachevo airport amounted to 482,359 people, an increase of 16.1% compared to the figure of 2018. 349,036 passengers were served on domestic flights (+16.8%), 133,323 (+14.3%) — on international ones.

Following the results of four months the number of transfer passengers increased by 46% compared to the same period last year. Their share in total passenger traffic was 24%.

The most dynamic destinations in April compared to the same period last year on domestic airlines were: Ulan-Ude (+190.9%), Chelyabinsk (+141.6%), Perm (+141.1%), Sochi (+104.1%), Ufa (+88%), Omsk (+86.6%), Neryungri (+85.4%), Kyzyl (+82.1%). On international ones — Prague (+115.1%), Namangan (+106.1%), Larnaca (+103.6%), Cam Ranh (+76.7%), Seoul (+68.6%)

And the most popular destinations in April 2019 among the passengers were Moscow, St. Petersburg, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Krasnoyarsk, Cam Ranh, Bangkok, Sanya, Phuket, Beijing, Osh, Bishkek, Tashkent, Dushanbe and Almaty.

In April charter flights were resumed to Antalya, Larnaca and Hammamet, regular flights were resumed to Frankfurt. New flights to Novokuznetsk have been opened, flights to Tomsk have been resumed.


For four months, the airport served 9,261 movements (+11.2% to the same period last year), in April — 2,461 (+10.3%).

Since the beginning of 2019, the cargo flow amounted to 9,873 tons, including 2,740 tons of cargo and mail in April.

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport (Tolmachevo) is the largest transit air hub beyond the Urals on the most important directions between Europe and Asia. Following the results of 2018 the airport serviced 5.909 million passengers. The airport's route network includes more than 95 flight destinations. As of today, the airport offers passengers more than 2,000 practical combinations of pairs of connecting routes.
