Novosibirsk Airport Increases Flight Frequency with China
Starting from July 6, 2017, S7 Airlines, a partner of NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport, opened additional flights on Novosibirsk - Beijing – Novosibirsk route.

Flight S7 863 Novosibirsk - Beijing is operated on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 20:35. Return Flight S7 864 Beijing - Novosibirsk takes off on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 06:35. For each airport the local time is indicated. Flights are performed along with the existing daily flight departing from Novosibirsk at 23:50.
Currently Tolmachevo airport has regular flights to Beijing, Urumqi, Shanghai, Hong Kong (in winter period) and Harbin. The main airline companies providing the development of transportation on the routes from China to Novosibirsk are S7 Airlines (Beijing, Urumqi, Shanghai, Hong Kong), Ural Airlines (Harbin) and China Southern Airlines (Urumqi).
The current Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China on the group visa-free trips promotes the increase of the tourist traffic.
In order to improve the convenience of passengers arriving from China, information indication in the passenger terminal of the airport are duplicated in Chinese, and also from the beginning of 2017 voice flight announcements in the passenger terminal are also made in Chinese.
In 2016 NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport along with the current Russian and English web-sites launched the Chinese version of its official web-site. Visitors of the web-site can easily see the online flight schedule, where the names of the cities are given in Chinese and so on.
In April 2017, in order to improve the quality of service for Chinese guests, the first tourist map in Chinese was developed, where the most popular tourist attractions of the city are located. The map stand was placed in the terminal arrival zone of the international sector.
The airport has an advantageous geographical location for development as a transfer hub on the routes from China to the European part of Russia and to Europe. For tourists arriving from China and wishing to visit such popular tourist cities of Russia as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and others, Novosibirsk Tolmachevo airport provides convenient connections.
NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport (Tolmachevo) is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the international terminal capacity – up to 1300 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories. In 2016 passenger traffic of the airport exceeded the mark of 4 million passengers.
