On 24 November 2017, Novosibirsk Tolmachevo airport reached a new record level in the history of the number of passengers since the beginning of year – 4, 5 million. Jubilee passenger was a Beijing resident – Mr. Zhao Jianping who flew from Novosibirsk to Moscow on an S7 184 flight of S7 Airlines with a transfer stop in Novosibirsk airport.

Special Fares on Flights from Novosibirsk to Simferopol

Federal Air Transport Agency of Russian Ministry of Transport approved the planned volume of air traffic to Simferopol at reduced airfares in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 29 April 2014 No. 388 "On subsidies from the State budget to air carriers in order to ensure accessibility of air-passenger operations to Simferopol and back" for 2017.

Globus and ALROSA airlines, the partners of Tolmachevo airport, are planning to operate flights from Novosibirsk on special airfares. The airfare is 6,000 RUR for one-way flight. Rossiya Airlines is also considering the possibility of opening flights from Novosibirsk to Simferopol.

This year the program of air service to Simferopol from Novosibirsk provides two or three flights per day.

In 2016, 107,000 passengers were transported on this destination (+7.4% compared to 2015 figure) during the period of the program, including16,500 passengers transported on subsidies.

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport (Tolmachevo) is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the international terminal capacity – up to 1300 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories. In 2016 passenger traffic of the airport exceeded the mark of 4 million passengers.
