Following the results of 2016, NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport handled 4,097,490 passengers, which is 10.6% more than in 2015.

Tolmachevo Airport invites you to the "Summer of Childhood"

The exhibition of the young talented artist Tanya Safonova Summer of Childhood is presented to passengers and guests of the airport in the passenger terminal.


A series of graphic works "Summer of Childhood" is an attempt to return to childhood, a desire to retell a great story again.


"This series is about carefree and at the same time very caring childhood, kind naivety, simple and important things; about touching perception of the world, full of magic, about the moments that inspire us to do something wonderful", tells about the exhibition its author.

Personal recollections of the author will evoke a response in the soul of perhaps each exhibition visitor. When looking at the pictures one can reminisce about childhood and feel like a child again, return to perception of life as a miracle.


Tanya Safonova (creative alias Serafima Patisson, serafimapatisson.com) is an artist, graphic artist and illustrator. She was born in Novosibirsk, lives and works in Saint Petersburg. Tanya is a participant of Russian and international exhibitions, festivals and competitions. Her works are found in the collections of galleries in Russia, Poland, Macedonia, South Korea.

The exhibition is located on the ground floor of Section B (international flights) in the registration area and will be working till the end of November.

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the international terminal capacity – up to 1300 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories.
